Long time customers who are not coming back and this is why...
My friend and I usually went here at least once a month. This was our go to place for a cheap bite to eat. But no more. We loved some of the older waitresses who were super sweet and knew we were repeat customers. Loved the prices here and thought the food was decent. Liked the pasta night and chicken night although the seafood night was meh, questionable. We always tipped at least 20% and never had any issues.
My concern has been with the recent customer service. My friend and I showed up tonight at 8:50 pm (Monday night) knowing that they close at 10 pm but figuring that was more than enough time to send us on our way before closing. We are not the type of people who stay after closing.
The younger waitress with the dark curly hair we had two weeks prior gushed at the customers who were leaving as we arrived. She was super sweet to them. She ran off to the opposite side of the restaurant when she saw us and just stared at us. I had the vague notion that she was taking about us as we stood there waiting for a table. As we stood waiting to be seated we were completely ignored by her, the bus boy and the manager. They just kind of looked at us but didn't seat us. Each walked past us at least once and ignored us. We were the only people waiting and were not acknowledged by any employees for several minutes. It was super awkward and we felt uncomfortable. I think there was maybe one other couple in the restaurant at the time so it wasn't like they were busy. Usually one of the waitresses or manger has seated us in the past and we never waited this long. Finally the young kid who was behind the pizza counter asked us if we needed help. This was quite odd as everyone knew we were there to be seated at a table and didn't want pizza. We were nowhere near the pizza counter. He told us to sit anywhere and someone would be over to help us. We sat at a table with no menus or anything for another 5 minutes and no one came over. The bus boy cleaned the tables around us and didn't not look in our direction. It was such an unpleasant experience that after 5 minutes of sitting at a table and still being ignored we decided to leave. We were both so upset because we always liked coming here. If they wanted to close early they should have said something to us. We would have been fine with that. But ignoring customers is in poor taste. We finally walked out after being ignored for 10 minutes. No one said anything or even looked in our direction as we left. This is not the way you treat customers and certainly not loyal customers. If you want decent service go somewhere else! Big disappointment... never again. -

Great stop for quick slice of pizza, wings or garlic knots but don't waste your time dinning there. Very small room in the back that we can hear every word the table next to us says. If you sit up front by the pizzaria it's too loud.
Whatever you do don't get the seafood special on Wednesday nights! It's a bargain but you get what you pay for. -

Stopped by quick to grab a couple slices during work. Wasn't impressed very doughy and not a lot of flavor. No oregano or red pepper on tables. Place was very clean but I wouldn't go back. Should have gone to Luigi's in Babylon instead. WAY better.

I'd heard great things about Mama Angelina's from my SO who used to work in the area and raved about their shrimp slice, so when I started working in the area I was excited for some good pizza. I came on a Friday afternoon with some coworkers for lunch who wanted to order from the lunch menu, so a server told us to head towards the back dining and we'd be attended. We waited about 10 minutes for someone to head over to us, and our server was unfortunately quite rude.
While there are lunch specials, they are not advertised on the lunch menu. My coworker was told to head towards the front counter to look at them and to order it there. After looking at the lunch menu, I decided I just wanted a slice and when the server asked if we were ready to order and I requested a slice of pizza he said: "If you want to order a slice, you've got to go to the counter." Now, I honestly wouldn't have minded going to the counter, but the spot where I sat would mean having to ask 3 people to get up just to let me out of the corner. My response was, "Ok, so to get a slice I'd have to make everybody move? Then nevermind." and he responded with "Well, if I do it for you then I'd have to do it for everyone..."
While he realized how stern he sounded and did bring me the slice, it's all about customer service, and that sent me a message that I was unwelcome. To make matters worse, the slice of buffalo chicken that I had was not memorable nor did it have a fair amount of blue cheese. Needless to say, I won't be returning.
